While development is complex, BushProof proves that great steps forward can be made. We participate in a number of important local and international networks and committees, while getting the job done efficiently – providing access to safe water to increasingly large numbers of poor people – even in remote areas or insecure and harsh conditions. This attitude is central to our identity. While we research, develop and innovate existing or novel techniques in partnership with other reputable organizations, we do get essential services out to large low-income populations, rapidly, affordable and efficiently.

Technology choice
Our selection of technology is key: as implied by our name, our products and services are specifically tailored for use under harsh conditions. Robust, simple and appropriate, they are easily maintained at village level and can be repaired using locally available materials and skills. Scaling-up and replication are central elements in our choice of technology and (project) approaches.

Effective partnerships
In addition, our intimate understanding of relief and development organizations allows us to interact and network effectively with these clients. Rather than acting as a mere contractor, our NGO clients see us as a valuable partner who understands their needs and whose staff and working methods integrate well with their field operations.
