Ceramic Filters

BushProof provides a variety of affordable ceramic filters. Assembled from quality imported and local components, these filters provide high quality drinking water at affordable prices.

We use filter candles that contain both silver nitrate and activated carbon, as this combination has been shown to produce a good quality filtrate. The candles also contain a dechlorinating agent, which can be an incentive for local purchase in certain rural towns where there is a very high concentration of chlorine which can affect the taste.

The filters provided by BushProof are available in several sizes with containers ranging from 4 -10 litres.  Shipment of large quantities is possible - for instance for use in emergency or refugee situations.

In addition, BushProof provides pressure ceramic filters that connect direct with existing plumbing. These filters do not require a storage container.
